Hope

Ansel Adams, American photographer best known for his black and white photographs said “A photograph is usually looked at – seldom looked into.”

On Fridays I will post a photograph for the reader to “look into.” What do you see on first look? second look? Does the photo have a meaning that makes sense for you personally? Is there a story? Submit a title if one comes to your mind.

Or not. Sometimes a photo is just that – a photo. Meaning-making is in the eyes of the viewer.

    “Hope”
    or
    “Resilience”
    or perhaps
    “Resilient Hope”

What a moving photo — thanks for sharing, Lisa!

OH, I like Don’s title, “Hope”.

This reminded me of a scripture: “There shall come forth a shoot from the stump of Jesse, and a branch from his roots shall bear fruit.” Isaiah 11:1
